Our Story

The Dreem Collective started off as a wine farm in 2006 when the Droomer family purchased Rouzelle Farm. Since then, it has evolved into a collective of premium brands, products, and services.

Dreem Fruit: Stone fruit and grape production forms the core of the Dreem Collective. In 2006 when we bought the farm it was 100% wine grapes. Since 2010 more focus has been on stone fruit with eat-some-more characteristics. Dreem Fruit currently produces 16 different stone fruit cultivars with special focus on nectarines and peaches. We produce, pack and market our fruit locally and internationally.  We are directly aligned with leading local retailers like Pick’n Pay and Fresh Mark,  and internationally with Marks & Spencer. With the wine grapes we have been focused on grape production for the past 10 years delivering all our grapes to a cooperative style cellar, Mountain Ridge.

Dreem Wines: Over 600 tons (450 000 bottles) of wine is produced from the grapes produced on Rouzelle. This wine is produced from 9 different cultivars (sauvignon blanc, chenin blanc, chardonnay, viognier, pinotage, merlot, shiraz, ruby cabernet, cabernet sauvignon). In 2020 we decided to put a face to our grapes, and embarked on the journey of creating our own wine brand, Cape Fold!

Dreem Fire: One of our other passions is food, especially over the fire cooking! With lots of South American influence, we developed a passion for The Theatre Of Fire. In 2020 we launched our first range of premium Braai Tools. We also stock premium imported cutlery and knives.

Dreem Stay: To experience the combinations of farm life and tranquillity, guests can come stay in our Kliphuisie farm cottage.
